According to the close sources after the embarrassing loss against New Zealand in the first match of The Tri Nations series, Pakistan’s selection management has decided to make a change in the initial Champions Trophy squad.
In the significant development Sufiyan Muqeem has become the front-runner to replace Tayyab Tahir in Champions Trophy squad. While another regular opener, the left handed Imam-ul-Haq might also come in the final 15 replacing either Khushdil Shah or Faheem Ashraf. PCB has already submitted the initial squad to the ICC for the Champions Trophy 2025.
